Our Objectives
We are Australians and world citizens who care about our environment and strive to protect it.
At Save Whitsunday Water, we believe it is our duty as community members to be true guardians of this land and to protect our region from environmental destruction and undue deforestation, infrastructure development, energy experimentation and untold damage being caused by unsustainable human activities.
It is our firm belief that each of us holds a privileged responsibility to ensure that the future of our wilderness areas is safe from destructive 'Green Energy Agendas', free from the contamination of toxic mining practices, spared from unnecessary dams of our rivers, streams and waterways - and protected from becoming another statistic in the fight against habitat loss & wildlife extinction.
The Whitsundays Region of the Queensland Central Coast of Australia - is home to an alarming number of threatened wildlife species, rare and endangered plants and some of the most beautiful untouched mountain regions still left in the world.
We owe it to future generations to protect our beautiful region and honour the past, present and future communities and travellers who will someday thank us for defending it from destruction.

Dittmer is located in both the Great Barrier Reef (GBR) and Proserpine catchments, which amplifies the risk of environmental impact and risk of contamination. Mining activities in this area could threaten the health of the GBR and affect the water quality for the Whitsundays Region.
